Steve Duckham

Trafalgar Financial Chief Executive Officer 

Steve Duckham is the founder of Trafalgar Financial.

Steve had a view of maximising opportunity and sharing the best systems and ideas within a group of accountancy practices which resulted in Trafalgar Financial.

His goal is to grow Trafalgar Financial nationally by adding accounting practices to the group in order to add value to the practices and enhance the services available to their current and future clients.

By joining the Trafalgar Group the practices benefit by having a unique cross support network of skilled professional accountants and access to ongoing professional development. His vision is to help clients with all financial matters and provide a unique service with a team of top professionals.

Steve is an experienced accountant with over eighteen years in the industry. At an early age Steve showed true entrepreneurial qualities by becoming a CFO of an Oil and Gas Company at just twenty three. Steve has enjoyed a prosperous period as a CEO and Chairman of Financial Planning, accounting, real estate and mortgage broking group, which proved to be incredibly successful. He also part-owned an International Management Consulting company based in UK and many other enterprises in his relatively short career.

Currently Steve is searching to add more practices to his already successful group and is offering his guidance and leadership knowledge to all employees at Trafalgar.

Sharren Wong

Group Operations Manager

From an early age Sharren was always interested in learning which led to her gaining a Bachelor of Science Degree. Shortly after she discovered that she had strong predispositions towards management and she followed her aspirations and was a very successful manager at a very young age.

Sharren decided to start a family and as a result decided to return to learning and gained a Post Graduate Diploma in Education. While her family was growing up, Sharren taught at various High Schools before returning to her true passion of management.

She successfully managed a highly evolving IT business with her husband for over ten years.

When Trafalgar Financial was formed Steve gave Sharren an opportunity to expand her management horizons and support him in managing his newly established business. Steve shared his knowledge and wisdom with Sharren and coached her to efficiently manage a group of highly reputable practices.

As Trafalgar has grown Sharren has moved into the role of a Group Operations Manager and is now responsible for overlooking the entire operations function of numerous practices. Sharren is also responsible for transitioning of newly acquired businesses into the Trafalgar Group which is one of the most crucial stages of this business.

Sharren is regularly updated on a range of issues by the members of the executive team and through her successful coordination of the Group she is enabling Steve to continue with his goal of growing the group.

Sharren enjoys traveling and exploring new places. 

Mike Smallman

State Operations Manager

Partnering VCA, now Trafalgar Financial (Cannington) in addition to his previous experience at Bird Cameron for twenty five years, has equiped Mike with necessary skills to effectively manage large group of professionals and number of processes. 

Steve has discovered his talents and has given him an opportunity to be a State Operations Manager.

Mike is currently in charge of individual practice managers. He ensures they effectively deliver services and manage the resources of their practices.

Mike is determined to guide the practices to always commit to understanding and carrying of business objectives.

He focuses on building positive relationships with the practices in order to create unity of efficiency which will reflect on the services we provide.

Jeevan Krishnan

Group Chief Financial Officer

Jeevan began his Professional career with Duckham and Associates now Trafalgar Financial (Subiaco) Pty Ltd in February 2007.  As of February 2009, Jeevan has transitioned into the role of Practice Manager of the Subiaco Firm and deals with all areas of Accounting and Taxation.

Due to his hard work ethic and progress throughout the years, Jeevan has been asked to serve the role of the Groups Chief Financial Officer, a position he is most proud of.

Jeevan has a range of very important duties within this role as he overviews the Group's revenue, profitability and expenditure. All of the practices report directly to Jeevan on these matters and he must effectively analyse the informations in order to inform the decision makers. He is determined to assist Trafalgar and remove any obstacles that may hinder the Group's financial well being. He is constantly looking for innovative solutions to make this business grow.

Marko Korlat

Group Marketing Officer

Marko began his journey at Trafalgar in late 2009 as an accountant at the newly acquired Cannington Practice. He quickly moved into the practice management role, which he successfully upholds and embraces. Marko is currently also in charge of coordinating the Marketing Function at Trafalgar Financial.

Marko wishes to provide the best service to Trafalgar Clients and inform them about what Trafalgar Financial has to offer. Trafalgar Financial has an exclusive service offering and aims to add value to every client. Marko will endeavour to deliver that service in all instances.
